The back of the RC02 collimators are machined down to Ø1/2", enabling direct mounting into a Ø1/2" kinematic mount (see image to the right). Thus, these mounts are directly compatible with our SM05- or SM1-threaded optomechanics such as the LMR05( /M) or LMR1( /M) lens mounts, respectively. The RC02, RC04, and RC08 reflective collimator housings are equipped with external SM05 (0.535"-40) threads while the RC12 collimator housing has external SM1 (1.035"-40) threads. For more information on how to optimize coupling of light from an optical fiber, please see the Collimation Tutorial tab. Note too that, in general, light from a multimode fiber cannot be well collimated. When collimating light from a multimode patch cable, the fiber NA should be <0.40 (RC02), <0.36 (RC04), <0.167 (RC08), or <0.216 (RC12) to avoid clipping light on the housing. In multiple-wavelength systems operating in the visible and IR, these reflective collimators can be used to both couple polychromatic collimated light into large-core multimode fiber and to collimate polychromatic light emitted by optical fibers. These protected silver reflective collimators offer excellent reflectivity within the 450 nm - 20 µm wavelength range please see the Specs tab for more information. Common applications include systems that utilize multiple wavelengths that need to be collimated, collimation/coupling in the IR, and coupling polychromatic light into large-core multimode fiber. Due to this intrinsic property, parabolic mirror collimators do not need to be adjusted to accommodate various wavelengths of light, making them ideal for use with polychromatic light. Metallic mirrors, unlike lenses, have a focal length that remains constant over a broad wavelength range. These Protected Silver Reflective Collimators are based on a 90° off-axis parabolic mirror. The Fiat 500e is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor, which delivers 116 horsepower (118 PS) and 162 lb-ft (220 Nm) of torque. They will have to export the vehicles to their point of origin, Italy, before the sale of the vehicle can be transacted and the title can be transferred.įollowing the securing of the title in the origin country, the buyers will receive the necessary documentation that will allow them to export the vehicles out of Italy and into the country they choose. That means that the buyers will have to go through quite a complicated procedure. None of the vehicles can be driven in the United States because they do not comply with the motor vehicle safety standards in the country. The 500e Bvlgari was auctioned off for $175,000, while the Armani variant will find its way to the driveway of someone who paid $150,000 to take it home. That is almost nine times the usual price of the model. But the Kartell variant was the one that enticed the most. Transparent polycarbonate covers the dashboard.Īll three jewels from Bvlgari, Armani, and Kartell sold for an incredible $600,000. The front grille, wheel, and mirror caps are made of polycarbonate recycled from what Kartell calls "end-of-life parabolic projectors." Tactile textile plastics, which are 100% recycled polypropylene and polyester, show up in the customized cabin. The wheels and mirror caps found inspiration in Kartell’s Kabuki lamp. The model is dressed in a 'monoblock color,' the Kartell blue, which is derived from the company’s Yves Klein blue. The latter was the one which got most of the attention. There were actually three of them, bearing the signatures of Bvlgari, Armani, and Kartell. The star of the Fiat lineup, the 500e was also in the spotlight at the Art Basel Miami. The 500 has always been a fashion icon, so it is fashionably late when it comes to sales. However, the EPA-rated range of only 149 miles (240 kilometers) might discourage customers. The 500e starts at $32,500 before incentives. The Italian model was introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2022, but deliveries are set to start in the spring of 2024. The model is making a comeback to the American market after a three-year hiatus.
